Dr. Daniel Rayman was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area. He graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto with a double major in human biology and zoology in 1999. Dr. Rayman then continued his education at the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude in 2003.

Dr. Rayman has completed clinical rotations in pediatrics, binocular vision, ocular disease, and contact lenses at various clinics and teaching hospitals throughout North America. He has completed thousands of hours of didactic, practical, and clinical education specializing in caring for patients with binocular vision disorders, learning-related visual disorders, strabismus, amblyopia, and brain injury.

Dr. Rayman enjoys seeing patients of all ages and especially enjoys working with children. Dr. Rayman is a fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and is board certified in vision development, vision therapy, and vision rehabilitation. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, Optometric Extension Program Foundation, the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, and Vision Therapy Canada.

In his spare time, Dr. Rayman enjoys exercising, travelling, and spending time with his wife and son, and their big dog.

Dr. Thai was born in Toronto and grew up in Richmond Hill. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences and went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree with honours from the University of Waterloo. She was named to the Dean’s Honours List for both degrees.

Dr. Thai has a special interest in ocular disease, including glaucoma, diabetes, and dry eye syndrome, which stems from the training she received as a student at the Eye Foundation of Utah. She has a passion for humanitarian initiatives and has travelled with the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) group to Chisinau, Moldova, to provide comprehensive eye examinations to patients with limited access to eye care.

Dr. Thai is excited to join the practice and welcomes patients of all ages. She believes education is key to providing quality patient care and strives to stay up to date with the latest advances in patient care. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Thai enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing piano, learning to play volleyball, bullet-journalling, and cheering on the Leafs.

Emily is a licensed Optician and has been working in her profession for almost 20 years. Emily prides herself on her “old-school” work ethic and craftsmanship. Emily is responsible for most of the custom optical lens production for both our Richmond Hill and Bolton offices. It is Emily’s goal to create a pair of glasses that fit you properly, allow you to see better than you ever have before, and make you smile every time you put them on.

Emily is fluent in English, Hungarian, and Romanian.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys the outdoors and listening to music.

Melina has lived in Bolton for over 25 years. She has many years of experience in the optical industry. A highly qualified and confident individual, she enjoys assisting our patients in finding the perfect combination of frames and lenses to meet their lifestyle needs. Melina not only takes into account what frames fit you well and look great, but will also consider your prescription, lifestyle, and ocular health to make appropriate lens recommendations.

Natashia has been a Bolton resident for more than 15 years. She’s often the first smiling face you’ll see when you come in for your visit. She enjoys being a part of your full-scope experience.

With 7 years of beauty industry experience and as a certified optometric assistant, Natashia can provide feedback on the frame design that best suits your personal style and also offer suitable lens options for your needs.

Natashia enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle.

Soroush is a licensed Optician and has been working in his field for over 15 years. He enjoys helping people and has always focused on the best customer service experience to ensure that you will enjoy visiting our friendly environment. Soroush is responsible for helping customers choose the best lenses to suit their prescriptions and has a keen and artistic eye when it comes to finding frames that suits your facial features. It is Soroush’s ultimate goal to ensure that you are well fitted in your new eyewear and that they are perfect for your vision needs. Soroush is fluent in English and Farsi. In his spare time, Soroush enjoys home improvement projects and listening to music.

Katherine is a fun-loving, enthusiastic, and compassionate Vision Therapist. She has a combined 11 years of experience working in the healthcare field as a nurse and as a certified vision therapist. 

Being very involved in the industry of taking care of people has helped Katherine develop her valuable skills and techniques, and a creative attitude in the way she takes on challenges in the therapy room. This allows her to bring an effective and personalized approach in the care of her patients.  Working as a vision therapist has allowed her to rediscover the joy of being in the frontline of helping people get better and feel better about themselves. For her, seeing patients come to therapy each week all excited and ready to take on their next challenge is one of the greatest rewards she could ever get. 

In her spare time, Katherine enjoys watching movies, reading, relaxing, trying new food, and spending time with family and friends.

Jeanne will be one of the first people you meet coming in to the office. She has over 15 years of customer service experience and has worked in Los Angeles in administrative roles for musicians at Warner Chappell Music. Jeanne has over 5 years of experience in the medical industry. In her spare time, Jeanne enjoys plant keeping and writing poetry. Jeanne is also a published poet.

Heidi has been a resident of Bolton since 2005. Having moved here from small town Saskatchewan, she understands the importance of community and teamwork. She enjoys connecting with patients and learning their stories as well as providing them with excellent service. Heidi comes to us with a combined total of over 20 years of retail, management and customer service experience and is eager to assist patients with the right frame for their lifestyle!  As a contact lens wearer herself, she enjoys passing on her knowledge to new lens wearers. In her free time, she enjoys baking and playing piano and spending time with her family and her dog.
